A series of text that I wish to write. (Humane at Wiktionary)

The first bite, Undecided

There are three parts here, none are of academic or professional values, and just act as a thought provoking text with some short story included to help us increase our English proficiency. You can just read any of them, as I do not think they rely on each other, or at least I tried to do that. There are some notes included in the last part as well.

An entry point

To theists, even the kindest heretics are of the worst sinners, and to anti-theists, even a just god is no more than a cruel dictator.
Or not. It is more of a click bait than analyzing religious different beliefs.

You are led by what you believe in as truth, not the actual truth. Even your most accurate tools to study outer world beyond your mind (science) depends on what you claim as yourself. Is what you have always thought as correct, just, ethical, or trivial, the same as it seemed?

There has been a myriad of different turnarounds in history, when something which deemed correct was proven wrong. Galileo Galilei broke some old beliefs of people.

However there are a whole lot of other topics that are not this easily accepted by everyone. Vegetarian and vegan movements argued that our long time eating habits are unethical, in comparison to Galilei, this is not something easily decided for everyone; if we ignore the fact that even the physical observations of Galilei made him undergo harsh treatments. Social, cultural, ethical, legal, and probably much more aspects of human life are more complex and environment dependent than those low level physical, biological aspects that are more easily determined 1. In these cases, truth and lie, the value of propositions, depend on a group judgment; sometimes without any objective 2 value and reasoning to back them. Some of the currently most famous examples of social cultural topics that are related to this include LGBTQ+ and feminist movements. Being backed by the media, they have spread their ideas so far that almost everyone, including you, has at least heard of them. We can also include a lot more, like greeting customs, burial methods, religion, etc.

However, these aforementioned won't be today's main topic.

Let us continue with a little story as an example, as that is main point of writing these texts.

A little story

Once upon a long time, there lived a rabbit, a cat, a fox, and a monkey and a group of mice in a jungle and a tree 3 4. The rabbit, the monkey and the mice ate plants whose name I won't mention; the monkey also ate fruits, sometimes from our tree; the cat would hunt for mice, and the fox would try to hunt the rabbit beside having his mice.

Interestingly enough, some of our mice were suicidal and would think of cat and fox as heroes who guide them to a peaceful eternity. The other mice and rabbit would consider them evils. To the cat, the mice were of best creatures, offering their children to sate his thirst, and to the fox, our rabbit was evil, resisting the hunt and adding to his hunger. In addition to that, the cat hated the monkey, they did not eat anyone or endanger their lives, but they would mock them and steal their foods. Monkey was a friend of fox, sharing foods and mocking others together was one of their great hobbies. To them this mocking was good, and a great way to decrease their stress. This mocking would make other animals get frustrated and they would consider this an act of devil 5. To the tree this mockery is meaningless, neither good or evil. Time passes…

One day the monkey offers some fruit to his friend, the fox, he has no need to hunt for prey and considers this eating evil and unnecessary. He wants to align his friend with his beliefs, and his friends accepts this offer. However unfortunately consuming this fruit made our orange mischievous fox to suffer from great stomach pain. He was probably unable to digest fruits, but he knows nothing about that and instead he stops eating any fruits while considering them as evil.

The mice would hide under the roots the tree, and the cat would climb it to rest from dangers of the fox. This had turned the tree into an enemy of fox, being a source of poisonous fruits and a shelter to mice, blocking his access to food. He would soon ignite the forest, burn the tree, and bring a great change to our story. The tree notices how his ignorance and silence has cost him his life, parts with the jungle cursing everyone and himself.

After the fire Monkey had lost the shades of tree, hating the fox for taking this resting place from him, he breaks up his friendship with the fox. Other animals were not on a good term with him before hand but, suicidal mice started supporting his cause; Thinking his cause is superior to the cat they start going to live with him as a token of gratitude.

On the other hand, the cat has started to think that maybe being mocked was not so bad compared to his current bed-less state. Other mice have also started to regard the cat as better. Obviously he is not a hero, but not evil when they compare him to the fox.

Things have changed, and animals have noticed that they can provide food to the predators and live longer; the mice offer suicidal members to the cat. The monkey, lacking enough resource of fruits and filled with anger, starts hunting and attacking the mice and rabbit. Welp. Because the author did not create a good food chain, the animals would just eat each other until they go extinct, but instead the monkey realizes the great potential of his prey, with the help of cat and remains of tree provides them with shelter and mates, and starts feeding off their offspring.

His action is considered devil by the fox and his group, but it is considered great by the cat and rabbits. Specially rabbits who had lived in a harsh environment and were now provided with opportunity to foster under, forgetting how they were hunted and how their care takers were once enemies.

Everything said, jungle has come to a relative balance, which can be compared to our current world. What do you think? Unfortunately, even if that is not the case, to avoid getting thing needlessly more complicated because of my poor plot for this badly written story, I have put an end to this one (at least for now).

Notes to the first one

I have wanted to write a short story-like autobiography for some time, being influenced by different things, including a phrase about The Ugly Duckling. After it is asked from his author, Hans Christian Andersen, why he has yet to write an autobiography, he claims he has already written it in The Ugly Duckling 6.

Unfortunately, I am one of the worst story tellers you will encounter in your life, I am also not going to explain any rationale that led to this decision. Either way, I hope to write a series of pages. Some more of a drafty debates, and some (if I become daring enough) more of a story or verse. Currently these series are untitled, in a sense that the current title is not permanently decided.

I am neither a philosopher, nor a novelist or poet, nor am I a mathematician or physician. Think by yourself, search those which deem worthy, and decide by yourself. Also, more importantly, correct me anywhere you find I have mentioned something wrong, whether typographically, grammatically, or anything else.

Thanks those who supported me, even a little, to write and publish public thoughts. I will keep these English only to slowly pick up English again. Also, I will try to provide GPG signatures in case something goes wrong.

I will also try to avoid getting to direct and short, and write a little more to both improve my writing, story telling, and language skills. I hope to get feedback on that as well.

Footnotes

1

Obviously there is social science, but that is not what matters.

2

Check objective and subjective opinion at Wikipedia.

3

It would be cool to have a living plant, right? I could add more animals but I guess these are more famous in folk-fores.

4

I'm also too tired to pick up names for them, sorry.

5

I didn't want to complicate things, but the first evil act that they (almost) agreed upon was eating each other.
